Our Cyst & Pseudocyst Stent are packed with an implant card that should be completed by the healthcare institution/provider and hand over to the patient.
The card comes with one side pre-printed with the manufacturer and stent traceability information and the side that must be completed according to the example shown on page 4. A website with more information is available at the following address:
- The Cyst & Pseudocyst Stent are placed in conjunction with an endoscope, a guide wire, a pusher and, when necessary, a guiding catheter.
- To facilitate the application, an endoscopic sphincterotomy or cystogastrostomy prior to guide wire placement is recommended. (Please observe HF-generator and sphincterotome or cystogastrostome manufacturer’s instructions).
- It is recommended NOT to remove the stent by inflating a ballon inside the stent.
- The patient and the stent should be regularly followed-up to remove the stent immediately in case of clog, migration or fallout from the papilla.
