- Insert the device in the endoscope operating channel with the help of a catheter or catheter made device.
- Advance the device to the desired location under fluoroscopic guidance.
The stiffness of the device must be taken into consideration to avoid organ or tissue perforation. It is known that rigid devices should be avoided in some cases and flexible should then be preferred.
