Biliary & Pancreatic Stent are made of radiopaque PE plastic with 2 flaps. In order to facilitate the mounting orientation of the stent, they all have always and only the distal end tapered. The 7 Fr stents are designed to go over a 0.035” guide wire, please test the compatibility before the procedure. The 8.5 Fr and 10 Fr stents are compatible with common application systems designed for endoscopic plastic stent placement if they respect the stent’s diameter and compatibility should be tested prior to use.
