Prior to the extraction of the Non-vascular Guidewires from the dispenser, physiological saline solution has to be injected in the dispenser to wetting the complete hydrophilic surface of the Non-vascular Guidewires. After the injection of the saline solution, the Non-vascular Guidewires has to be extracted carefully out of the dispenser. If the Non-vascular Guidewires cannot be extracted easily out of the dispenser, additional saline solution has to be injected into the dispenser. After extraction, the Non-vascular Guidewires must not be introduced into the dispenser again.
Depending on the model, the Non-vascular Guidewires can be used from both ends. On the contrary, the distal end is always the flexible tip.
